Paper is personal. I believe there’s something special that happens when you interact with a beautifully designed, printed piece. It can set the stage for a new experience or take you back to a treasured moment in time. Paper makes a sentiment feel more real, more sincere.
I built Typo Boutique around these beliefs and a desire to share my love for typography, paper and print. There’s an immense satisfaction that comes from bringing an idea to life and telling someone’s story through design. Watching a concept transition from flat shapes and type on a computer screen to a piece of art that I can hold in my hands is a feeling that never gets old and I want to share that passion through every piece we create.
Our style is built on a foundation of classic typography and clean, open space. Inspired by vintage design and historic detail, we strive to create pieces that are timeless, elegant and thoughtfully simple. Stationery serves as a tangible reminder of life’s most special moments and I want our work to be well-loved and relevant, both today and for many years to come.

Letterpress is our preferred print method and all of our pieces are designed to work beautifully with this process. Pressed ink brings out the subtle texture of the paper and adds a level of dimension unmatched by flat printing. Holding a letterpressed piece and being able to feel the impressions and subtle differences between each print is undeniably special. We recommend letterpress to showcase your design and heighten the quality of any printed material.
Our letterpress ink list can be downloaded here. Our house paper stock is Crane’s Lettra, a luxurious cotton stock with a beautifully soft texture. It comes in three colors and two weights.
Fluorescent White is a true, bright white. Pearl White is slightly off-white and our favorite choice for most projects. Ecru is a rich cream. 110lb is our standard-weight stock and 220lb is a double-thick option that allows for a deep impression without any show-through on the back side. It can also accommodate two-sided letterpress printing.
We work with an extensive number of paper suppliers and can guide you through choosing the perfect color, texture or weight for your design. We can also mix custom ink colors if you need something specific and can’t find a match in our house ink list.
A budget-friendly option with a quick turn-around time. Flat printed items are digitally printed in the colors of your choice on our 110lb house paper. We can match an endless number of colors but metallic ink is not available for flat printed items.
Using a letterpress and heat transfer process, delicate foil is pressed into the paper for a dramatic look with high-impact shine. Available in gold, silver and matte white, foil is the perfect choice for printing a light or metallic color on a dark stock.
Yes. Samples of our invitation collection designs are available in our shop. The cost of the samples will be credited towards your final invoice if you decide to move forward with an order.
Our samples are pre-printed and are only available as shown. Digital proofs including your custom information and color choices will be provided with any collection or custom design order.

Yes. All of our collection items can be personalized with custom ink, paper and envelope colors.
Our collection suites include typefaces that have been carefully selected and paired to compliment each design. In most cases we don't recommend making changes but if you have something different in mind we are happy to take a look.
It's important for us to maintain the visual integrity of each collection we create and prefer that any design additions are done in-house. We do offer custom add-ons if you want to make changes to a collection outside of color, paper or print method.
It's very difficult to match ink colors between different print methods so to ensure color accuracy we recommend using the same print method for all pieces. We understand that some couples prefer to splurge on high-end letterpress or foil invitations and save on some of the other pieces. We do offer this option and will do our best to keep the colors consistent but cannot guarantee an exact match.
The first round of design proofs will be sent by email within 3 business days of receiving your deposit and wording. Two rounds of revisions are included with your order and we'll make any adjustments based on feedback you provide within 1-2 business days. The editing phase can range from a few days to weeks depending on how quickly you get back to us with edits. Once your final proofs are approved, production and shipping typically takes 4 weeks.
For full custom orders, please allow 2-4 weeks for design. This can vary based on the complexity and number of pieces included in your project. We'll provide you with a more accurate timeframe after talking through your ideas and inspiration.
Pricing varies depending on design complexity, print method and quantity. Custom work requires a $1,500 minimum order, and includes a design fee for each item in addition to our collection pricing. Contact us to talk through your ideas and we'll provide a free quote based on your project specifications.
Complete our contact form or email firstname.lastname@example.org to get started. We'll schedule some time to talk through your project, look at any inspiration you might have and set up a timeline. From there we'll put together an initial quote for your review. Once approved, we'll collect a 50% deposit and move forward with the design process.
Yes, we love incorporating design elements that are personal to the couple. In the past we've done traditional monograms, custom crests and logos featuring pets, venue illustrations and wedding dates.
